Droitwich Spa Food Festival Dinner 2014 : Hello I'm Clo





Last night (20th June) I attended the Droitwich Spa Food Festival Celebration Dinner. It was 5 courses of locally sourced Worcestershire produce and was simply brilliant. Hosted at St Andrews House Hotel It was a great evening of fine food and fine company.





  
Course One:
Evesham asparagus 3 ways: Steamed with butter, Scrumpy fried with herb mayonnaise, shaved asparagus salad.


Course Two:
De Beauvoir smoked salmon 'Hix Cure' & Severn & Wyre smoked eel with new potatoes & horseradish salad.


Course Three:
Rack of Pershore lamb with Spring vegetables and ramson sauce.

Course Four:
Ombersley Perry Jelly, summer fruits & elderflower ice cream.

Course Five:
Local cheeses with Ombersley rhubarb membrillo


Finish:
Coffee & 'friandises'
