The Ultimate Brush Collection : Hello I'm Clo

The Body Shop Brush Pack

Hello I'm Clo!

A few weeks ago in my Lust List post I spoke about my want/ need of new make up brushes that were high quality and long lasting. I wanted a selection of brushes from one brand to create a full brush collection. This week I caved in and bought the Ultimate Brush Set, as featured in my lust list for £45 from The Body Shop in Solihull. I then got a  further £4.50 taken off the total at the till with my Body Shop reward card.

All brushes are cruelty free and made from synthetic materials that are super soft and perfect for applying make up.

What's in the Ultimate Brush Collection?

Blusher Brush
Eyeshadow Brush
Foundation Brush
Face and Body Brush
Lipstick Concealer Brush
Slanted Eyeshadow Brush
Brow and Lash Comb
Blender Brush

Blusher Brush

The blusher brush is perfect for applying everyday blusher and building up for the colour you want. You can also use the Body Shop blusher brush for contouring and blending.

Blusher Brush £12

Eyeshadow Brush

A flat brush for precise application. Great for matte eyeshadows as well as frosts. This brush is the perfect combination of hard and soft. The tapered tip is soft yet the bristles firm.

Eyeshadow Brush £9

Foundation Brush

If you like to apply your foundation with a foundation brush then this one is worth a try! You can also use the tapered end to contour as well as apply everyday foundation. Make sure you wash the brush otherwise the brush sticks itself together! The brush provides even distribution of foundation product.

Foundation Brush £12

Face and Body Brush

As the largest brush of the set, the face and body brush is designed for powders. Bronze up, blend in or set your make up with this large head brush. The brush has a solid long handle that provides easy grip. It's soft head makes it an easy choice when wanting to bronze your decolletage.

Lipstick Concealer Brush

This brush is a duo. You can either line lips and fill in with lipstick or alternatively, use as a precise concealer brush to target areas that need concealing. The rounded top allows for precise work and makes it easier for picking up pigment.

Lipstick Concealer Brush £9

Slanted Eyeshadow Brush

The slanted eyeshadow brush is designed for defined eye work, defining the crease of your eyelid to complete a make up look. Due to the slanted shape of the brush you could also use this brush for your eyebrows. The shape of the brush would create a sharp eyebrow shape. The precision application of the brush means you only need minimal pigment or eyeshadow.

Brow and Lash Comb

This multi-purpose comb is a make up essestial and staple for lash and brow lovers! The brow comb tames and sets brows in the way you want them (Shape / Direction of hair) and the lash comb is used to comb through your eye lashes post mascara application, in order to evenly distribute the mascara and prevent matting and clumping and provide a more groomed look.
The Body Shop Brow and Lash Comb arrives with a top protector. This allows you to pop it into your make up bag without worrying that the comb may snap, or pick up loose product at the bottom of your make up bag.

Brow and Lash Comb £8

Blender Brush

This blender brush is perfect for creating a smokey look or blending colours seamlessly. The Body Shop Blender Brush has a soft round tip for picking up and distributing eyeshadow or pigment.

Blender Brush £10

I'm pretty pleased I bit the bullet and bought this set. I'd thought about it for so long and even featured it in my last lust post, yet as soon as I'd bought the set I knew I'd bought the right thing! I look forward to creating some new looks and push these brushes to the MUA limit!

Speak soon,
Love you lots,

Clo : -))
