September Beauty Empties

September Beauty Empties

Hello I'm Clo!

September simply flew by and with flying back to the UK, starting Uni and celebrating my 19th Birthday it's been a very busy month filled with laughter, excitement as well as trials and tribulations!

Over the past month I've been using up odds and ends of travel products as well as some old faithfuls!

Garnier Simply Essentials Eye Make Up Remover

(Boots Link) £2.99

The Garnier Simply Essentials Eye Make Up Remover has been a freshers life saver. Less is more with this product that you can use on your face as well as eyes. By letting the make up remover soak into a cotton pad, apply and hold to eye and let it do its thing! It lifts eye make up with ease and without too much oil or residue left behind.

The product is great, the packaging not so much, It leaked all over my suitcase on the flight back from America, I'll be looking into a travel alternative for sure! If you have any recommendations please do let me know in the comments below.

Number 7 Beautiful Skin Quick Thinking Wipes

(Boots Link) £7

Number 7's Beautiful Skin Quick Thinking Wipes are one of my long standing beauty favorites and although I now favor a more vigorous make up removal routine, these are great for make up adjustments too and if you're too tired to faff!  With 30 wipes in a pack, these take a while to go through but hold their moisture nicely.

Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Face Wash

(Superdrug link) £1.50

Simple's Kind To Skin Refreshing Face Wash does just what it says on the tin. It's easy to use, kind to skin and washes away make up and dirt with ease. It comes in this handy travel size too which is a bonus! I found I used this face wash everyday for a month and still had a little left over.

Simple Kind To Skin Soothing Eye Balm

(Superdrug link) £3.99

The Simple Kind To Skin Soothing Eye Balm does not blow my socks off. It doesn't change my eye area or the colour of my area so it's quite a dull product for me. With the title of the product also being a little vague, this product has made me realise I need to be more specific with what I want out of a product. I.E I was to reduse bags and dullness. This is an eye balm that has no end goal.

The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner

(The Body Shop Link) £8.50 Full size

The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner is a funny little product that would really suit a city dweller, who needs a daily clarifying in their daily routine. I found it an unusual, kind-of-dry toner compared to the other toners in The Body Shop's collections but overall it did the job and kept my skin clean and polished. Note, this isn't for you if you don't like the smell of seaweed!

The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser

(The Body Shop Link) £8.50 Full size

My final product that I've come to the end of this month (and my favorite) is The Body Shop's Vitamin E Cream Cleanser. It's lovely! Soft, gently and super on skin! I loved using it on holiday and when I got back. It made my skin feel fresh and thoroughly cleansed. I shall be buying the full size version once I've used up my current cleanser stash!

I've really enjoyed finishing off bits and bobs this month and trying some new products in travel size! What have you been finishing off in September? - Let me know in the comments below!

Speak soon,
Lots of love,

Clo : -))
