Hair and Make Up
Super straight, brushed through hair donned the catwalk this afternoon at the British Fashion Council’s courtyard show space. Lightly dusted pink cheeks and pretty pink lips gave a feminine, light edge. With hair framing the face, bushy brows took center stage, the look was finished with winged eyeliner.
Shape & Style
Daks went for a classically womanly shape. A line shapes, long coats and belts. Accessories to match a typically winter outfit. Daks showcased a truly winter collection of wrap up warm high necks, coats, midi dresses and biker jackets. Tailoring and tweed appeared throughout the show as did two male models, modeling slit finish trousers, tight cashmere sweaters and hats.
For their more trend led part of the collection Daks introduced free flowing dresses in a dark winter flower print with pelvic and leg slashes.
Shine and polished leather boots and bags, zip and buckle detailing, especially on the more biker style clothing, winter flower patterns and 3d fabric. The trend of ‘Fluff’ continued with fluff added to jackets and collars at Daks.
Daks used their accessories as a great addition to their show. Each model wore a red cap hat at the beginning of the show, the strong red colouring set the show alight and the red lighting complimented this well. All in red outfits including hat, clothing and tights made a bold, yet memorable statement and paired with brogues and shiny, tall, winter boots really gave the look a winter feel.
Accessories also included in the show: Capes, neck-ties and gloves.
