Whilst in Dublin
I did a lot of research for my current Visual Merchandising university
project. Being in a different location allowed me to soak up what the city
had to offer visually, take my time and snap away at the wonderfully festive window displays and captivating in store offerings.
Department store Brown Thomas
on Grafton Street
offered a truly indulgent winter wonderland of a window. Colour, texture and sparkle combined with classic christmas
tales and toys. Sweets, dolls and trains adorned the windows, with not a Christmas tree in sight.
In store displays took an alternative twist on Christmas. Classic red and green Christmas colouring
brought alive with abstract mannequins and part Christmas trees hanging from the ceiling.
The gift wrapping was seen all over the store, showing so many gift ideas it was hard to choose!
One of my favourite Brown Thomas
displays. It was so big, I couldn't fit it all in the photo!
Overall Brown Thomas
was a Christmas delight. Full of festive fantasy and so many gift options, there really was something for everyone.
Have a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year.
