Lifestyle: Back From New Zealand

Hello It's me, Clo!

I'm back from New Zealand, I've landed and it's... weird.
I also can't believe it's October, when did that happen!?

At Palm Beach (I think!) on Waiheke Island, New Zealand.

I've been away for a month, I've lived in a Hotel for that time, without family, without 100% wifi and in a country I've never been to before. In the past month things have changed. Things feel different now. I feel different. Being away from everything and everybody I know, has given me a break from real life and given me real life perspective, given me time to review my priorities and figure out what it is that i want from life and this vast world we have the pleasure to live in. It's been emosh.

This trip has allowed me to find, discover and improve  my strengths, weaknesses, likes and dislikes. It's taught me that I make friends easily now I'm an adult, that I can handle more alcohol than I thought I could, and that traveling 12,000 miles in a plane is easier than taking a two hour car journey.

On our way to Mount Victoria, Devonport, Auckland, New Zealand.

Work has taught me so much about myself and the opportunities career wise that are there in the future. I will be forever grateful for this trip, despite the super long hours and the sweat blood and tears (all literal) put into opening that beautiful, brand new store. If you ever get the change, go visit it. To the guys and girlies at H&M NZ001, Thank you.

So I'm back in the UK. I've got a few days now to get my shit together, unpack my suitcase, unpack all my belongings that were put into storage incase my Dad moved house whilst I was away, and find a bloody jumper because, my god it's cold in England! I also new need about 100 cups of English breakfast to get on tea zone in my now very cold and post flight 'cankley' body.

I've got a literal fuck tonne of university work to catch up on, as I rather naively though I'd have more time on my hands whilst away (palm face) but if anything, this trip has shown me I'm capable of anything if I put my mind to it. Work hard, play hard and all that.

Cocktails and catch ups are needed with my girlfriends, a Harry Potter and Bake Off marathon are needed with Adam, when he arrives later on today and once I'm settled and back into the swing of things, I'll start uploading pictures and blog posts on the amazing adventure and opportunity New Zealand was.

Waterfalls, beaches, seas, islands and boats all heavily feature as do my shopping explorations, independent brands, sightseeing and food!

It's good to be back.

We'll speak soon,

Clo :)
