In Soho's Princi Bakery

Introduction

Last month I wrote a 'Get to know me' post where I touched upon being a veggie, where I work and how Hello I'm Clo came about (Read it here) and here is the second half of the post! So welcome if you're new on the Hello I'm Clo culture and lifestyle blog and welcome back if you've been here before!

I hope you enjoy the second part of my get to know me post, let me know what you think in the comments and if you've got any questions, pop those in too and I'll get back to you!

5 Facts About Me

1. I Currently Live In Birmingham

I have lived in Birmingham my entire life, up until I moved to Epsom, Surrey for University for a year, before moving back home for financial reasons. I graduate in June and once both Adam and I have confirmed jobs in the city, we're moving back to the capitol! We both can't wait to start our careers and kick-start our lives back in the big city.

2. I Love Traveling

Travelling and visiting new places is one of my absolute favourite things to do. I love experiencing  other countries & cultures and seeing how others live. I like to experience things off the beaten track, non-tourist things to do, as well as the show stopping, touristy things to get a real mix of experiences. I took 17 flights last year and visited 4 continents, I love the thrill of wanderlust and I take any opportunity I can to experience something new.

3. I'm A Fully Qualified Make Up Artist

Probably the most random fact about me, but when I was 18/19 I trained as a make up artist specialising in prosthetics and theatrical make up. It's a bit of an odd thing to do, looking back on it now that I'm doing something totally different, but at the time I was interested in Beauty, journalism and media, so was heading in that general direction, with potential career options being a beauty journalist.

I've been qualified for three years and haven't done a lot with it. Soon after the beauty blogging scene took off and it wasn't my vibe and I fell out of love with it. Perhaps one day I'll flex the MUA muscle and bust a make up move. Who knows, for now, I'll keep it basic.

4. I'm Really Passionate About Sustainability, Especially In Fashion

Since joining university I've become really interested in what goes into and how clothes are made. Which makes me think more about the world around me and how I treat it. All this thinking has been brought to the forefront of my mind more than ever when writing my university dissertation. I'm currently finding sustainable and eco alternatives to things and am trying to make better purchasing decisions, heading towards a more sustainable lifestyle.

5. Equality Is Mandatory

I believe that everyone Is equal regardless of: gender, race, nationality and sexual orientation. Equality in this world should be mandatory and I wish it was something everyone was born with.
